As 2021 winds down, I wanted to highlight key blog posts from this year,
My very first post this year was in March, focusing on my 26th anniversary as a photo coach. Not many people know what a photo coach is or does.
In this post, I describe how I didn’t do scrapbooking as my focus—even though that was the trend and it was so popular. Read where I got my foundation for my business as it stands now.
During the summer, I introduced searching your family’s history and combining it with permanently storing your photos.
In the fall, I introduced three colleagues who work with me as photo coaches. Each one highlights a specific area of interest and they touch on:
- Converting old media files to digital
- Working with family members like aging parents, adult children and distant cousins
- The importance of family history
- Guaranteed photo storage for a lifetime plus 100 years
- Photos as gifts
Being a photo coach can be a great way to earn extra income or even full-time income. Read this post if you might enjoy helping families preserve their photos.
More to come in 2022.

Have a wonderful new year.
