You don’t have to toss smoke-damaged photos and books.
This is true for families who have suffered through the recent fires in Altadena and Pacifici Palisades or a house fire anywhere.
A chem sponge, dry cleaning sponge, and paper towels are all you need to wipe off soot and other accumulated dirt as you’ll see below.
If you, or people you know, aren’t sure if photos or other memories are able to be restored then put the questionable items in a box and not the trash.
I don’t want anyone to come back years later and realize their memories could have been saved.
I’ll arrange (for me or one of my team members) to pick the box up and see what we can do to save or restore any of the photos, albums, etc. at no cost to fire victims.
To raise funds, we’ll be offering “Invest in Peace of Mind” Classes (90 minutes) for $49. You’ll learn Disaster Preparedness Tips and how to safeguard your memories and more. Class fee will be donated to help as many fire victims as we can restore photos and rebuild their photo gallery through family & friends.
