My story
As a young mother, I left the corporate world to stay home with our 3-year-old and newborn children as my husband was busy with his career. But, two years later, I still wanted to use my professional skills and offer a service that was meaningful and gave my clients satisfaction and joy.
I also wanted to have a business that fit my personality so I turned down various business opportunities.
In the ‘90s, crafty-artsy photo albums were popular but I wasn’t artsy and I’m still not. I’ve always enjoyed telling stories about family photos and I have a journaling method I still use with clients.
Looking at a friend’s photo album made me decide to become a photo coach.
The rest of my business story isn’t just “history” but I learned how to adapt to changes in technology and scale my business using the internet in addition to in-person workshops.

What is photo coaching
So what is photo coaching?
I believe it’ll be popular for the next few decades and longer.
You help clients preserve their most meaningful memories by digitizing older photos, videos, and other files and storing them in the same place as their newest photos, videos, and other memories.
Many of us are overwhelmed with clutter from the past. We have printed photos and precious memories on media that’s obsolete and yet we have smartphones and other electronic devices cluttered with hundreds and thousands of files.
