Do you ever wonder what types of photos and videos you’ve already taken? Keeping an inventory of your memories is tough if one of the kids or grandparents hasn’t recently been in person at a holiday, like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or the 4th of July.
Even if your kids are still young in middle school or high school, do you have lots of photos of one and not many of someone else?

A peek into Melody’s family album 2008–digital was getting ready to take off
Taking photo inventory
How have I organized myself so I’m not worrying or feeling guilty I don’t have enough pics of family members or friends? I’ve got a not-so-secret weapon I mention below.
I’ve been able to turn this traditional scrapbook album into digital so it lasts … forever. Uh, hint.
Life has lots of moving parts and we’re often busy running from one place to another. It’s true for young families but I’m finding it’s equally true for me now that I’m a grandmother.
I’ve built a career as a photo coach that lets me set my own hours and scale my business nationally. I work with lots of wonderful people who are my clients and others who are photo coaches.
I’m thankful for that. I get to play golf and pickleball quite often and travel once in a while with my husband.
There are definitely perks.
But the biggest perk is I can travel in So Cal to help my mother and out of state to help my children with their families. Plus, I have an easy way of knowing what new photos and videos I need to take when I’m visiting or traveling.
That’s a great feeling.
Here’s a tip: don’t save everything … only your most meaningful memories. Delete the others with confidence.
Blurry photos are easy to delete, but do you find that duplicates get confusing?
That’s the beauty of the platform FOREVER®, the most complete memory-keeping system available.
Do you get those nagging feelings like a memory is missing? You’re not quite sure?

I’ll give you a virtual tour that just takes about 20 minutes and you’ll see how it works.

Why FOREVER® gives me peace of mind
All of my memories are stored in the cloud. Safely and permanently.
I know the term cloud storage might sound scary to some of you, but here’s why FOREVER® is different than social media sites and photo storage sites that charge low monthly fees.
- FOREVER® is built as a permanent digital storage solution. It’s guaranteed to last for a lifetime, plus 100 years and beyond.
As new technologies are available, FOREVER® makes sure that all existing file formats are able to migrate to newer files.
- I own my FOREVER® account. I’m not renting and I’ll gladly share about that. My data is never sold or mined for marketing and advertising purposes.
- FOREVER® lets you:
- Digitize all your older files
- Upload them to a central place called your Library
- Store them alongside all your newer photos and videos
- Organize them into Albums and sort them using Tags
- Digitize, upload, and store many different file types like handwritten letters; ribbons won at contests like track meets or the county fair; slide shows and 8mm home movies.
There’s so much more you can do like research your family history, turn your digital prints into photo books plus other gifts.

Photo Inventory at a Glance
I can quickly scan my Albums, enter Tags like “kids” or “vacations” and look at what surfaces. I can glance at my Library, too, and see what surfaces.
Do I have enough or too many pics of one grandchild than another or am I missing some? How all those scenery pics? How many shots of the So Cal mountains and landmarks like Griffith Park do I have, and do I really need another?
The answers are easily found in my FOREVER® account.
I’d love to show you how it works because I’m passionate that families like yours should have a permanent storage solution for your memories.
It’s a great time of the year to organize because summer’s coming. Whether you’re taking a staycation, floating lazily on the Mississippi or other river, or heading to an amusement park like Six Flgs or Cedar Point in Ohio you’ll want to know what pics you already have and what pics you’re missing.
